Oh Pandora How I Love thee!

Now that I have a computer that can support such a pleasure, I've have tasted the sweet nectar that is Pandora. It appears I'm a big fan of vocal-centric aesthetic and major key tonality. Wish I knew what that says about my music genome... I do remember something about Major and Minor tones having something to do with the feeling or essence of what a song is saying. Any way around it, this thing has figured out what kind of music I like, even if the songs are under genre's I don't usually enjoy.

And yes that says u2 radio... Eric don't hurt me.

My friend Caleb and I were talking about Mac's VS PC's and came up with this theory:

What if Apple computers are evil? I mean, what's their logo? A apple with a bite out of it, sound familiar anyone? Maybe like something in Genesis? I mean they do look so very good. And they do so well with good looking media - arguably the thing that'll lead us and our children to Hell in a hand basket!

!!!!!!

Eh. All I know is, this is a great tool that I've been blessed with. I hope it can be put to good use.

So I will be starting farming soon. "Dave!" you say, "What happened to being a CNA?". Being a Nursing Assistant was a great blessing, partly because I gained skills at no monetary cost (My Schooling was paid for etc.) and aquired a job that taught me a ton. Looking at my finances however, it seemed wiser to go for the most paying job in light of school and whatnot.

One thing I'm still digesting about my time as a CNA is the reality of death. I'll admit it was a major reason I took that road for a season. It (death) is like a great leveler, no honest person can deny its weight. In some ways it's hard for me to understand how to take the apostle Paul when he says "Where oh death is your sting?" (1 Corinthians 15:55) .

My problem isn't with hoping in the resurrection, or Christ's conquest over death. But rather, how we are to take death. I don't see anything that tells us "Do not mourn". What was Christ's view of death? How should we view death biblically? How are we to react to death in right knowledge of the risen Christ and His gospel?

Any ideas? I'm shure I'll be posting more about this.

Grace and Peace.

Eric likes U2. He owns U2's Greatest Hits.

Re: the Apple logo: A former executive has actually been quoted as saying that the apple with the bite out did have Biblical connotations, and symbolized "lust, knowledge, hope and anarchy."

Others have claimed it was homage to a famous computer programmer who committed suicide by biting a poisoned apple, though that claim has been disputed.

Ah, the mysteries of the Mac.

Gates: "But It doesn't have any windows!"
