Shady days help me through the hopless haze
I just finished my first 15 hour day of the season. Being able to work is great, but the long lonely hours staring at the ground are intensly taxing. In many ways I feel like Robinson Crusoe. I just hope I won't have to relearn how to talk. Thankfully I have the whole Bible on my Ipod, along with all my music, and a radio. I've even grown a taste for country music... hey, it's better than rap.
I have to say looking back I think some of the times I've felt God most is in a machine. The saying is true: Character is who you are when no one else is around. I've cried for the joy and sorrow of the gospel many times cutting rye grass. My days are very bittersweet.
Much Love all... and if you ever need to talk to someone, I'll be sitting out there, staring at the ground, waiting to listen.
Plowing the dry ground of my heart, this is Dave signing off.

Country? What has the sun done to you my friend?
YES!!! Im so excited you like country now! Haha, I used to hate it but now I'm hooked on it. I hope that you have a good rest of your week at work...I think that it's cool how you get to have that much alone time with God. Talk to you later Dave! God bless
ah, I don't miss those days!
